Hello World

My name is Shinju and I'm a ceramic artist. This will be my first exhibition so I've called it "Hello World" - an expression from the computing world where the first program one writes in any new language is one to display the words "Hello World" on the screen.

To me, an ehibition is about creating a space for people to relax in and enjoy. I try to create objects which have an effect on the energy within a space, bright rainbows of colour to enrich the senses, curious forms to stimulate, and then there's the mad black angel, Eric, who seems to get such weird reactions. It's a playground for people.
