Hello World

Erm. I'm not entirely sure I know how to start this. I've been asked to write some words to go with the pieces in this Exhibition. But since I will be there at the exhibition to talk about the pieces anyway, instead I thought I'd write some of the words I find it more difficult to say. Such as why I'm even here and what I'm doing.

I just wanted to create a space, a space for you. The world we are in now, is not the world I grew up in. It is hard. it is harsh and there is very little space to think freely. You guys all work terribly hard, trying to make your lives work, trying all the time to make some sense out of the Universe. Now me, I'm rubbish at all that, I can't keep a nine to five job for more that ten minutes without turning into a crazy.

So I thought I'd do something else instead. I thought I'd make you a space. A space to think and a space to be. I've put some pretty's around to make it nice for you, there is depth there, should you wish to investigate, but really I'd just like to let you sit down and take a load off your feet, relax and chill.

I should be about for the whole exhibition, feel free to come and chat to me about what the pieces are, why I'm here and what I'm doing. I'm a little shy, but happy to talk, enjoy the exhibition and I hope you like it.
