Amateurism
I have a thing about professionalism, it's just not for me. I like my business to have a comfy soft edge to it. I'm no different to anyone else on the planet and so I don't see why I need to assume airs. Professionalism seems to serve only to remove people from interactions which are going on between them and their customers.
Professionlism implies a certain level of infallibilty of service, one which I do not subscribe to. I am free to get things wrong, as I inevitably do. However I will always do my best to make good on any problems. Mostly I avoid making promises about things I have no control over. I may offer to make a pot but I rarely promise one and I don't set myself deadlines I cannot uphold.
Basically put, this is a little cottage business devoted to providing good quality sculpture to Newcastle. Nothing earth shattering, I'm learning a trade and your custom can help me on my way.
