“Fluidity” was one of my first pieces created while I was at Newcastle College. The piece is smooth and twisty suitable for anyone with strange tastes. It is made from terra cotta clay fired to 1080°c, and then smoke fired. I made it using the organic technique of "Do what you want". The form grew out of the chaotic positioning of the coils of clay, where they bulged I let the form expand to encompass the bulging.

The dimensions of the piece are about 40cm x 30cm x 40cm
